One of the many benefits of living outside of civilization is having awesome wildlife encounters and being surrounded by nature. The first snake featured is a Golden-crowned Snake (Cacophis squamulosus), a mildly venomous elapid, with an interesting threat display. The second snake is a young Common Tree Snake (Dendrelaphis punctulatus), a non venomous colubrid. Hope you enjoy this video of me herping at home!
