PETKUS Technologie GmbH, based in Wutha-Farnroda near Eisenach, has been an integral part of agricultural and grain technology for over 170 years. What began in 1852 in a small blacksmith's workshop owned by Christian Friedrich Röber is now a leading global manufac-turer of seed and grain processing equipment.
During privatisation from 1994 to 1997, PETKUS invested heavily in expanding its machine park. Even then, the decision was made to partner with WiCAM – a step that continues to pay off today.
