Passionate about her degree in theatre and upbringing in the arts, Friday believes they equipped her with essential skills to navigate any professional field. Having developed a career as a producer and production professional in many entertainment avenues, she now understands that her background in theatre and the arts built on her experiences in the classroom to craft her into the professional and producer she is today. Friday speaks to the revelations that professional office settings benefit from creative employees with degrees in the arts and the versatile skills fostered by an education in the arts leads to career stability. Hoping to shift perceptions, she draws parallels showing how these skills apply to professions outside of performing arts.
Claire Friday’s background is in arts administration and production. During 2019, she served as Interim General Manager for the Louisville Orchestra. Now residing in Las Vegas, Nevada, Friday produces special events and consults for live entertainment productions. She is also a speaker and writer and is active in the performing arts community.
