In these patch notes, we're looking at one of the sounds from this track. It's a sound in the treble area that starts as a pure feedback loop. I then mangle it through Melotus Versio, a granular effect. It becomes a rhythmic crazy noise that works well for the uneasiness in the track. In the video, I show how I build up the sound. We have a short break with a cameo by Anaximander and Anaximenes themselves, explaining a number of variations how to patch a feedback loop. Then we dive into the nitty gritty, the work on Melotus Versio to create a rhythm from the feedback screechiness.
