We made it out on the trail for a backpacking trip in the Deseret Peak Wilderness Area. This was our first time exploring this area. It was amazingly beautiful area. We brought along Stephanie, Kristy's co-worker and friend, for the adventure. This was Stephanie's first time EVER backpacking! This was also Kristy's first time backpacking this season. Along for the adventure was the high altitude Utah weather. It was May 20th but it still got down to 25F degrees in the night! How did we do? Well, with the help of Bigfoot Bushcraft fire starting kit we at least stayed warm by the fire. The night was a different story. Enjoy!
