Oor Koli
Make sure to buy you whole chicken from a Sri Lankan Butcher / Grocer as this type of chicken is fresh, meaty, much larger, more flavourful and just so much better.
Ingredients
1 whole chicken
2-4 tsp of coconut oil
1 full stick of cinnamon broken down
4 cardamoms
4-5 cloves
2 quarter size pieces of pandan leaves
7-8 curry leaves
1 tsp mustard seed
1 tsp fennel
1 tsp fenugreek
1 tsp turmeric
2 Roma tomatoes diced
3 medium red onions diced
5 green chillies cut lengthwise
Ground paste of 8 cloves of garlic and thumb size piece of ginger
