The US's intelligence chief has issued a stern warning to Pakistan, saying if the country doesn't act against terror safe havens, the US will do everything it can to ensure they don't exist anymore. Speaking to Voice of America radio two days before a high profile visit by US defense secretary James Mattis, Mike Pompeo, director of the US's Central Intelligence Agency, said that the Trump administration will first ask Pakistan firmly to tackle terror safe havens inside the country. However, he added, that if Pakistan failed to achieve the objective, the US is going to do everything it can to make sure that the safe haven no longer exists.
