These are the patients you should target first, as it gives you a higher chance of receiving an overall positive review, and the way to do it is to ask them nicely in person or hand them a brochure of some sort, which they can then bring home and write the review. Another option is to leverage the technology that already exists! Google Maps! The easiest way for them to find you is actually through Google Maps, so simply ask them to search for your practice on Google Maps and write the review from the platform! Easy!

Now from our own experiences everyone always gets busy as soon as they get home, so it is important for you to establish why you want them to review your business in the first place. Streamline the process so it requires the least effort possible! One of the ways us, folks at 20-80 Solutions has done this is by setting up a pre-written text message with a link that your patient can click on which sends them directly to your Google my Business review page, things like the five star rating is already pre-filled leaving with them only having to put in their comments.

For every 10 people you might ask, not everyone will say yes or send their reviews. Don't be discouraged! The more you ask, the more you receive, and if 2 out of every 10 patients review your practice, I guarantee you'll be smiling!
