Dr. Tanushree Jain is the First Gynecologic Oncologist in India who received MCh degree in this speciality. This is a super-specialization degree which has been conferred to few select surgeons till date. After receiving her MCh degree in gynecologic oncology from Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai. she received international training in Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgeries for gynecological cancers at the prestigious Asan Medical Centre, Seoul, South Korea. Before coming to Nagpur, she worked as a consultant at some of the major superspeciality hospitals in India including Medanta- the Medicity, Gurgaon and Sahydari Speciality Hospitals, Pune. She has special expertise in managing Ovarian Cancers with a huge experience in performing complex Cytoreductive Surgeries (CRS). She holds the credit for doing first Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC) in whole of the Central India.
Dr. Tanushree Jain has an extensive experience of more than 12 years and more than 5000 cases in this speciality. She is presently the only trained, qualified and certified Gynecologic Oncologist in Central India including whole of Maharashtra, outside Mumbai.
