Shila’s right under two months old and is exploring her environment and discovering new things. Recently, she’s gotten more curious when mom Whisper interacts with our trainers and joins her to check out what they’re doing and take part in the playful session, too!
Belugas are generally quite inquisitive and playful mammals and often use their mouths to explore their environment. For some reason, most belugas tend to seek out getting their tongue rubbed from our trainers as a form of play!
