Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Amit Shah, launched Bharat Taxi Service, offering a new option for cab users. The biggest highlight of Bharat Taxi is its driver ownership model. Drivers joining this platform will now be called "Sarthi" (meaning charioteer or guide). The government says that the Sarthis working on this app will be its true owners, and the entire fare for each ride will go directly into the Sarthi's bank account. Private cab companies like Ola and Uber typically deduct 20% to 30% commission from drivers' earnings. In contrast, Bharat Taxi will operate on a 'zero-commission' model, meaning the driver will keep 100% of their earnings. केंद्र सरकार में गृह मंत्रालय संभालने के साथ सहकारिता मंत्री अमित शाह ने भारत टैक्सी सर्विस को लॉन्च करके कैब यूजर्स को नई सौगात दी. भारत टैक्सी की सबसे बड़ी खासियत इसका ड्राइवर ओनरशिप मॉडल है. इस प्लेटफॉर्म से जुड़ने वाले ड्राइवरों को अब ड्राइवर नहीं, बल्कि सारथी कहा जाएगा. सरकार का कहना है कि इस ऐप पर काम करने वाले सारथी ही इसके असली मालिक होंगे और हर राइड का पूरा किराया सीधे सारथी के बैंक अकाउंट में जाएगा. निजी कैब कंपनियां जैसे Ola और Uber आमतौर पर ड्राइवरों की कमाई से 20% से 30% तक कमीशन वसूलती हैं. इसके उलट, भारत टैक्सी 'जीरो-कमीशन' मॉडल पर काम करेगी यानी ड्राइवर जितनी कमाई करेगा, वो सीधे उसके पास जाएगी. इसके साथ ही, ग्राहकों के लिए भी राहत की बात ये है कि इसमें 'सर्ज-प्राइसिंग' यानी पीक ऑवर्स में ज्यादा किराया लेने का सिस्टम नहीं होगा. पूरी जानकारी के लिए ये वीडियो देखिए।
