Описание: Early Roman history is shrouded in myth and legend - nowhere is this more clear than in the stilted portrayal of Women. But even after the dawn of reliable historical records in Rome, the fascinating world of Roman women is often neglected in our sources and thus frequently overlooked today. Despite their significant role in Roman society, women are underrepresented in historical records. This documentary explores the reasons behind this absence and reinterprets ancient evidence through the lens of modern literary analysis, gender studies and women's history.
