On Day 11 of athletics at the Paris 2024 Olympics, Cole Hocker of the USA set an Olympic record with a time of 3:27.65 to win gold in the men’s 1500m final. Camryn Rogers of Canada claimed gold in the women’s hammer throw, while Miltiadis Tentoglou of Greece triumphed in the men’s long jump. Neeraj Chopra of India qualified for the men’s javelin final with a season best throw of 89.34m. Winfred Yavi of Bahrain took gold in the women’s 3000m steeplechase with an Olympic record time of 8:52.76, and Gabrielle Thomas of the USA won gold in the women’s 200m.
