Instead of ringing the morning bell, Brother Jacques is sleeping -- much to the annoyance of Father Abbot. When Jacques gets his bell act together , he wakes the King of Insomnia (who has just that). At first he's in big trouble until an evil wizard casts a spell that puts the king to sleep for all eternity. Jacques, with the help of his friend, The Owl Wizard, finds the cure, but he himself is in danger of a long doze. The whole kingdom joins together to save the day and Jacques is rewarded with his greatest desire -- as much sleep as he wants.
