Maxim Turbo is a musical alter ego that came to life over a decade ago. Since then, Turbo has performed extensively across diverse stages, earning a strong reputation within the noise scene. His stage act is an intense, expressive, and physical performance involving a combination of mixer, pedals, voice, and trumpet. He navigates between the raw aesthetics of industrial soundscapes and the melodies of folk songs, combining together elements of religious themes and pop culture. Maxim Turbo's work embodies an alternative cultural and queer movement that operates in parallel to the mainstream art world. His practice is both performative and musical, driven by an emotionally charged, chaotic approach to real-time improvisation in front of his audience.
