2014–15 season
Over the first two months of the season, Harden was in MVP contention.[26] On December 11, 2014, he scored a season-high 44 points in a 113–109 overtime win over the Sacramento Kings.[27] On December 13, 2014, he recorded his third career triple-double with 24 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds in a 108–96 win over the Denver Nuggets.[28] On December 22, 2014, he tied his season high with 44 points in a 110–95 win over the Portland Trail Blazers.[29]
