I wrote the chorus a few years back when I was taking a Music Therapy course. My homework was to make a mantra for myself to sing in the mirror every day. I had posted it and someone had told me I need to make it into a full song.
This year, being apart of a wonderful songwriting group (The Fellowship of The Sing) The prompt was to write a song Inspired by Amanda Gorman’s poem “Displacement”. Here is what I came up with. What do you think?
