Avatar SA-2 Samson Gunship - Battle Over the Iknimaya | BESIEGE v 0.25 | Theater of Flights #28

Описание: The Aerospatiale SA-2 Samson is a human light ducted-fan craft from James Cameron's movie, Avatar, designed to carry out mostly non-combat missions. The Samson is armed with door guns, detachable rocket pods, and is the workhorse of RDA operations on Pandora. It is used to transport cargo and personnel to and from isolated sites.

It looks quite similar to its movie counterpart, with slightly smaller ducted-fan so it can fit in the bounding box. It's armed with water powered bomb-launcher I found from Ross Plavsic's Walking on Sunshine machine. It's water can also be used to extinguish flames on the Sacred Flame zone.

This machine took forever to tune even with Neutex help since the bi-directional tilt-rotor deciding to be a bitch. Even though it's still refuses to stop spinning on its own, eventually I can enhanced its auto-stabilization so it's controllable now. It's still hard and you might need some practices.

Special thanks to Neutex who help me by proposed a better tilt-rotor mechanism.
