Firstly, This is a concept and no one knows if the sound and speed difference will actually be like this! Note that this is only a video created by an individual!

I do not expect any major engine sound changes in the 2026 published by Redbull or on the grounds that the turbocharged 1.6-litre V6 engine will remain the same.
However, due to the increased battery element, increased energy regeneration and override mode, I expect a slight increase in electrical noise in the onboard video

The detailed technical regulations for the F12026 are still unknown.
My prediction is also in line with the predictions mentioned by some F1 officials, and I believe that F1 in 2026 will be slower than what it is today, especially on technical circuits. However, I don't think this will be the case on circuits with stop-and-go and long straights.
I think the new PU and the X-mode (aero similar to the current DRS), which can be used anywhere on straights longer than three seconds, will be effective.

But it will only be in the first three years that we will see close racing - in 2022 there was a lot of close racing, but now it is getting harder to get close. Tsunoda says the current difficulty of close calls is similar to 2021. That is what we see every time there is a regulation change in F1.

The key points of the 2026 regulations are as follows.

① 2026 cars will be 30kg lighter than current generation F1 cars improving efficiency and handling
② Redesigned power unit builds on world’s most efficient engines with almost 300% more battery power and even split between Internal Combustion and Electric power
③ Active aerodynamics to suit the energy management requirements of new power units
④ Increased overtaking opportunities through new Manual Override Mode granting more electrical power deployment for the following car
⑤ six power unit manufacturers with Ferrari, Mercedes, Alpine, Honda, Audi and Red Bull Ford
