Xbox One X on version 1.0.0.5 renders at a resolution of 2880x1620 and Xbox One X on version 1.0.0.4 renders at a resolution of 3840x2160.
Both versions seem to be using a form of Checkerboard Rendering to reach their stated resolutions.
