Goa Class 12 Results at 92.96%; Two Students Get Zero for Mobile Use

Описание: The Class 12 examination results declared by the Goa Board recorded an overall pass percentage of 92.96%, reflecting an improvement compared to last year.
Out of 17,283 students who appeared for the examination, 16,067 successfully passed, while the results of 23 students have been kept reserved. The pass percentage among girls stood higher at 93.93%, while boys recorded a pass percentage of 91.89%.
Meanwhile, an incident of exam misconduct was reported from an examination centre, where two students were caught carrying mobile phones. Following an inquiry, it was found that one of them had taken photographs of the question paper but was unable to make significant use of them. One of the candidates had attempted to obtain answers using ChatGPT.
Goa Board Chairman Bhagirath Shetye said that the examination committee has decided to award both students zero marks for the paper. Authorities reiterated the importance of maintaining strict discipline and fairness during examinations.
