On Friday, September 22, 2023 new and junior faculty gathered for a retreat at the Center for Academic Medicine. The day included several presentations on wellness and DEI as well as panels on promotions, grants, and mentoring. The day was designed by Drs. Peter Lorenz and Stephanie Chao, Vice and Associate Chairs of Professional Development respectively.
“I want to thank everyone for taking the time to invest in yourself and your career,” said Department Chair Dr. Mary Hawn.
