Do you want to know how to repair and install ridge cap shingles that blew off your house? In this video, a storm came by with gusty winds and blew off my ridge caps! I went to menards and picked up Oakridge 3 Tab Estate Grey Ridge Cap shingles. Then a box of 1 3/4 inch roofing nails and some roofing cement. Get the cheap stuff and in total everything costed me right around 40 dollars for replacing the shingles. When I nail the shingles into the house I'm about 1 inch from the ends and above the tar line to drive the nail through the top and bottom shingle. Then for my end piece cut off the tar line and place a nail in each corner.
