Overcast days are at least better than rainy days.

We usually like the sun to be there when filming outside. But mother nature isn't always on our side. Clouds diffuses the sunlight, making everything look flat. In other words there's not much contrast between highlights and shadows.

So we have to find ways to create more contrast. There're different ways to do that. Like choosing the correct background, using the right reflector and even setting your camera correct.

It always comes down to the same thing. And that is making sure your subject "pops out".
