We as a Kurdish gaming community would like to thank OFFWORLD INDUSTRIES for adding the Kurdish language (Sorani) to the game SQUAD. We consider this a bold and brave move as we, a minority people, with several large enemy states are constantly bombarded and harassed systematically, while we are aware that anyone who attempts to consider us, never mind give us recognition are usually also harassed. In saying so, as a game developer, we have seen game developers attempts to use our cause as a forefront to marketing their game initially to completely changing their strategy by completion (insurgency sandstorm), due to pressures from entities against our cause.
