Oriented Strand Board (OSB) production line is a highly automated production line for producing OSB boards. The following are the main components and workflow of OSB production line:

1. Main components
**Debarker**: used to remove the bark from logs.
**Wood Chipper**: Cut the debarked logs into qualified wood chips.
**Wood Chip Storage Bin**: Used to store wet wood chips.
**Dryer**: Use hot air to dry the wood chips.
**Screening Machine**: Screen the dried wood chips to separate qualified surface and core wood chips.
**Gluing machine**: glue the surface and core wood chips separately.

**Hot press machine**: subject the pre-pressed slabs to high temperature and high pressure treatment.

2. Workflow
**Raw material preparation**: After the logs are debarked and processed by the wood chipper, the wet wood chips are stored in the wood chip storage bin.
**Drying and screening**: The wet wood chips are dried by the dryer, and then the surface and core wood chips are separated by the screening machine.
**Gluing and paving**: The dried wood chips are mixed with adhesive in the glue machine, and then paved into slabs in a specific direction by the paving machine.
**Pre-pressing and hot pressing**: The slabs are first pre-pressed by the pre-pressing machine, and then enter the hot press for high temperature and high pressure treatment.
**Cooling and cutting**: The hot-pressed boards are cooled and cut in the cooling and cutting equipment.
**Sanding and packaging**: The cut boards are processed by the sanding machine to achieve the required thickness and surface quality, and finally packaged.
3. Automation and PLC control
**PLC system**: The PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) system is used to control the automated operation of the entire production line. It realizes real-time monitoring and precise control of the production line through connection with various sensors and actuators.
**Data management**: The PLC system can collect and manage various data on the production line, such as temperature, pressure, speed, etc., to help optimize the production process and improve product quality.
**Fault detection and processing**: The PLC system has a fault detection function, which can issue an alarm in time when an abnormal situation is detected and take corresponding control measures to ensure the stable operation of the production line.
