Does this bus go to Issaquah? Yes, it does! But the weather played an early April Fools joke on me, so we only ride as far as Eastgate Park and Ride.
A ride on Sound Transit 9636 - a 2010-built New Flyer DE60LF on a route 554 "Issaquah" - filmed in the late morning on March 23rd, 2025.
9636 has a Cummins ISL engine and an Allison EP50 hybrid system transmission.
We board at 4th Avenue at Lenora Street in Downtown Seattle and disembark at Eastgate Park and Ride, mainly due to the poor weather.
Something that is not an April Fools' Day prank though, this bus holds the title of the very last DE60LF that was ever built!
