Welcome to this 40 Minute Intermediate Yoga Flow. Part 13 of the Minimal Cues Series of classes. The classes in this series are ideal if you have a more established practice. Minimal Cues classes offer less verbal instruction typically naming the posture and the number of breaths, allowing space for internal awareness, breath and sensation.
This intermediate practice begins with quiet breath observation and Sama Vṛtti (even breathing), a reclined warm up, before moving into a slow ladder-style flow that targets the hips & spine. The sequence includes standing postures, gentle strength, twists and balances. Practice concludes with Nadi Sodhana pranayama (alternative nostril breathing) before Shavasana. Expect a steady, grounded pace with longer holds and room to explore your own experience.
If you like practising with props, I'd suggest a folded blanket and a yoga block.
