In this video I’m getting ready to leave on my LDS mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and honestly it still hasn’t fully hit me yet. I’m heading to Vancouver, Canada 🇨🇦 for the next two years and there’s a lot to figure out… from what to pack, to what missionary life will actually be like, to realizing I’m about to leave my family for that long. In this vlog I walk through my full mission packing process, the essentials I’m bringing, and everything I’m learning before I go.

Brock was helping me pack (which brought back all his memories from serving his mission in Brazil), and we had some really cool conversations about what to expect, how to invite people to church, and what these next two years might look like. We also went shopping for last-minute mission essentials like dress clothes, pants, and a winter coat (because Canada is about to be COLD 😅).

I also show my daily missionary outfit (still getting used to that haha), share some things I’m excited and nervous about, and talk with my family about me leaving for two years… which is honestly the craziest part.

This is the start of a whole new chapter.
