Vans RV 10 - 180 Degree Latch and Low Profile Handle - Tips & Gotcha's

Описание: Vans RV 10 build update - In this video I show the full operation of the plane Around 180 degree door latch and low profile door handle. I will share some additional insights now that I have completed the full install, it is important to read all 3 sets of instructions fully and determine the one that needs to be followed at each step. One important thing is the low profile door handle door mod adds a retaining clip that prevents you from sliding the inside handle on top of the gear rails. For me this meant that I had to re-sequence the way all of the components are attached.

1) Rear Pin and gear rail are connected , pinned and safety wired... and is dropped into place through the 180 latch
2) The rod that connects the lower handle gear rail to the 180 latch gear had to be installed next (ie step 1 above) through the lower hole on the door recess.
3) The forward Pin and upper gear rail are connected , pinned and safety wired
4) You set the timing for the lower rail(by itself) and the upper rail.
5) You connect the lower rail (step 4) to the rod connecting the 180 latch (step 2) via the pin and then safety wire in place
