Nikki and Vix: You're For Keeps

Описание: The video I promised to make for ilvSamCat, world's biggest Heather Peace fan in my book. The work was on hold for many weeks pending the end. Luckily, they concluded the Nikki Boston storyline this way, and this is how I will complete the story for us the lesbians.

I still blame their wasting time on trashy materials in the lesbian department, thus missing out on the chance to tell a good story. Please don't ask, folks, but if you must know, they threw a guy into the mix. Yeah, SO TYPICAL of lesbian storyline written without knowledge of real lesbians. Some writers don't have a clue that REAL lesbians will NEVER sleep with a man in order to prove/confirm/solve anything! Gents are our fathers, brothers, and friends, but never our lovers! Can't you ever try to get it right even for once?

SamCat, my dear, we don't have to fight with each other. You can take Nikki, and I'll keep Vix. :-}}}

Were you pleased with Nikki's exit storyline?
"Yes I was. I was a little bit concerned originally when they said there was going to be a love triangle. I wanted it to finish the way I wanted it to finish because there was a lot hanging on it really. But it is a really cracking storyline. It is actually very well developed in terms of the stuff with Nikki's internalised homophobia, which actually happens to a lot of gay people when they would really rather they weren't gay as life is a lot easier if you are not. I think there is quite a lot of depth within that that perhaps hasn't been explored before."

Note from me -- 'Internalized' homophobia? True, none of us wish to be gay if we could ever choose - because life as a straight would be a lot easier. But we can't deny being ourselves, so we choose not to live a lie. In any case, sleeping with a man is NEVER the answer. It will never solve anything while in turn further hurt and mess will result. I for one never feel the need to be with a gentleman for whatever reason. NOT all lesbians are insecure. It's time to stop using this type of storyline with us.
