How Jesus Helped Justine Rise | Arise With Hope 🙌

These words of Jesus echo through this powerful story from Rwanda. Meet Justine, whose childhood was marked by abandonment, violence and hunger — until her mother turned to their local church for help.

Through Compassion’s church‑led child development program, she found safety, food, education, friendship and spiritual care. She began to rise.

Her sponsor wrote letters that encouraged her, prayed for her and reminded her that she was known, valued and deeply loved. That steady support helped carry her through school, into university and into the calling she lives out today.

Now, she works with more than 500 schools, helping children receive the same hope she once received. And in response to Jesus’ kindness in her own life, she has adopted two daughters — giving them the love and stability she longed for as a child.
