Easy and quick Tzatziki Sauce recipe for your vegetables, grilled animal- chicken or lamb; and plant-based meats or patties like falafel. Tzatziki sauce is great on Gyros, Falafel Sandwiches or as dips. It’s a great way to tap into those Mediterranean vibes.
Tzatziki Sauce Recipe
Yield 6-8 pita sandwiches
Ingredients:
2 cups cucumbers, large dice with skin on (1 full English cucumber is perfect)
1 heaping cup of Greek Yogurt, 0% fat, no sugar added
1 tablespoon, fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon, mint leaves packed (half of 0.5 oz container, without stems)
2 tablespoon, dill leaves packed (entire 0.5 oz container without stems)
2 tablespoons, extra virgin olive oil
1 garlic clove, peeled
1 teaspoon, salt
1. Process cucumber well.
2. Add cucumber to strainer resting on bowl. Use spoon to press the cucumbers to squeeze the juice out.
3. In food processor, add yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, salt, dill and mint. Process well.
4. Add yogurt mixture to cucumber in bowl, mix well.
5. Drizzle extra virgin olive oil on top and serve.

Bowl, strainer, spoon, spatula and food processor
This Tzatziki sauce recipe has protein, helpful fats (HDL), and herb goodness. If you’re looking for something creamy but healthy, this is a recipe to try!
