In this style makeover video, my friend Ashley Abercrombie joins me to demonstrate ways you can look fashionable and stylish on a budget.

1. Thrift shop - this will save you a fortune.
2. Discount stores - they often have good quality and designer items at significantly discounted prices.
3. Buy less and wear more - rather choose to buy fewer, better quality pieces that you will love and wear often then a whole bunch of stuff you will hardly wear.
3.Choose signature pieces and colors that speak of your personal style. That way, it doesn't matter if you are wearing them often because they are your signature.
4. Choose pieces that easily dress up and down so you get more wear per pieces.
5. Layer so you can wear your clothing in various seasons.
6. Save up for what you really want. Sometimes it's worth investing in a few key pieces, so save up for them rather than buying more items you don't love and hardly wear.
