In 2021 we have seen the 50mm midsole heel stack record broken by Adidas and midsoles appear to be getting even larger and taller.
Will this breakthrough from Adidas spur on the other big brands to further increase their running shoe stack heights regardless of the World Athletics rules on championship midsole size?
These rules are unimportant to most runners, those who take part in local events and fall under that non elite banner.
