Although relatively new the scene of urban art, NAFIR already managed to break the internet during his first trip to Europe with his pieces in Norway', Germany, Italy and Amsterdam 2015. Simple, elegant, provocative - the work of NAFIR is contemporary, full of irony as the artist reflects on the latest events happening around him.
Street Art Museum are proud to have facilitated the two weeks residence in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. We visited many museums including Graffiti, NYC meets the DAM in Amsterdam Museum and hosted a special evening in our gallery allowing the residents to meet the artist personally and creating an opportunity to have a dialogue after the screening of the documentary about street art in Iran.
We are looking forward to welcoming NAFIR in 2016 for a solo show in Street Art Museum Amsterdam.
