In this video, I'll show you how to add a crackle effect to your rolled paper beads.
A lot of the paper beads I make are made from recycled paper or food packaging. Some are made from greeting cards, junk mail, and grocery store flyers. Others are made from various other papers including scrapbook paper, computer paper, and cardstock.
Some are made with hand painted papers, or strips that have been hand coloured with markers.
There are so many ways you can make rolled paper beads and a lot of different materials you can use.
To achieve the crackle effect, you should use paper with a glossy finish.
