The Final. GM Nigel Short playing 16 year old Mickey Adams who, of course, later became an elite super GM peaking at 2761 and No 4 in the world.
Commentary by GM Raymond Keene assisted by the late GM Larry Evans.
The very poor quality VHS tape quality made viewing the chess positions unreadable. Therefore I substituted a modern version and also included an up-to-date computer evaluation bar, which was obviously not possible 34 years' ago.
This series was broadcast once only by UK's Thames TV station and could only be seen by London viewers.
