Monument Valley is located in Utah, on Navajo Nation land. In other words they OWN all of the magnificent cliffs and mesas and spires that you see on many movies and TV shows made in the West. In fact, John Ford and John Wayne made so many movies there that they built a cabin just for John Wayne’s use while they were there working. There is only one non-Navajo hotel in the area, authorized to Harry Goulding in 1924, and appropriately called Goulding’s Lodge. And the massive scenery is nothing less than indescribable!!
Hi! We're Jimmy and Johnnie Lewis and we are the Two Old Farts Traveling! Our five-year mission is to boldly go where no old farts have gone before. Or at least not recently!
