Peter Obi has described Nigeria’s growing insecurity as “unbearable,” pointing to recent mass abductions and deadly attacks reported in Borno, Nasarawa and other parts of the country. Obi warned that the continued violence has displaced thousands of Nigerians and placed communities under severe pressure.
He also called on authorities to prioritise the protection of citizens while ensuring that soldiers who have lost their lives in the line of duty are properly honoured.
