This is my mini video compilation of a 2 foot x 4 foot table top size HO scale railroad in which I am currently working on. I took on a bit of a challenge to see what I was capable of putting into a compact size for HO scale. I chose to go with a logging theme for this one since I was able to select locomotives that could navigate around the small 9 inch radius curves, such as my Heisler, Shay, Climax and of course my mini Bachmann 060 switcher locomotive that easily moves around the entire perimeter of the layout. I prefer the small table top size since room is limited and this could easily be put onto a shelf. The other thing I really appreciate about the compact layout is the time to complete it would be much less compared to a 4 foot x 8 foot size or larger. This layout is obviously still in the works and I hope to show more progress on this in the weeks and months to come! Enjoy!
