I have some backcountry routes in mind that will challenge the range of our Winnebago Revel. For just a little bit more range, I install a pair of lockable Rotopax mounts on the Sherpa Cargo Carrier by Owl Vans. Although the job sounds fairly mundane, I need the mounts to clear the bike rack that already occupies the cargo carrier. This is accomplished with the help of an unlikely hero - an inanimate, high-density, polyethylene rod!
