Curious Sue
The 'wooden monkey' at Palawan Beach in Sentosa is likely a large sculpture named Curious Sue, part of an art installation called the "Explorers of Sentosa" by recycling artist Thomas Dambo.
The sculptures, made from reclaimed wood, were installed in December 2022 and were present at the beach until at least 2024. Curious Sue has been specifically described in stock photos as a large sculpture of a monkey on the beach.
