Seattle's beloved Little Red Hen bar faces eviction over shared dumpster dispute

Описание: The Little Red Hen, a beloved country music bar and dance hall in Seattle's Green Lake neighborhood, is facing eviction after 92 years of operation.

A notice posted by the Hen's landlords states that the establishment must vacate by the end of July or face eviction due to a dispute over a shared dumpster.

The landlords reportedly said that the Hen and neighboring businesses are not allowed to split trash collection costs, an informal agreement that they've been practicing, which led to a disagreement that escalated into an eviction notice that terminated the bar's month-to-month lease.

The bar, which opened in 1933 and has been at its current location since 1968, is known for its live music, cold beer, and vibrant dance floor.
