In this video, we enter Mongolia at Zamiin-Uud on the 1st July. It was not a smooth border crossing as the Mongolian Customs did not want to issue the TIP and requested that we hire an agent.
We did have a memorable experience when we met a Mongolian family. They took the trouble to prepare meals and invited us to spend time with them.
2nd July. Drove about 333km and camped a night in the desert.
3rd July, we were detained at a police check post in Choir. They took 8 hours before asking us to return to the border and get vehicle plates and local driving license.
4th July, By luck, a local helped us clear the issues and we were allowed to continue our travel to the capital.
