Описание: This is the Gračanica segment of DIY Travel featuring Kosovo and the host Charles Huang will visit some of the cities most iconic and must visit attractions on foot. Beginning with a day with two of the traditional Kosovo dishes. First being Flia, an Albanian dish consists of multiple crêpe-like layers brushed with cream and served with sour cream. Second being Burek or Börek, a family of baked filled pastries made of a thin flaky dough such as phyllo or yufka, typically filled with meat, cheese or vegetables. Follow by the bus ride from Pristina to the Serbian suburbs town of Gračanica, with a 10,675 inhabitants, majority being Serbian. We'll visit the town centre and main attraction, the historic Gračanica Monastery, a Serbian Orthodox monastery. Built by the Serbian king Stefan Milutin in 1321 on the ruins of a 6th-century basilica. In 13 July 2006 it was placed on UNESCO's World Heritage List under the name of Medieval Monuments in Kosovo. Finally, we'll visit the Gračanica Lake or Badovc Lake by taxi. This is an artificial reservoirs on the river "Gračanka" two kilometers above Gračanica, built in 1963–1966 in order to supply city of Pristina with water.
