Описание: On Father’s Day 2018, Jonathan Cruz was enjoying a day at sea with his family when a neighboring boat got stuck in a sandbar. When Cruz jumped in the water to help, things went terribly wrong: his legs got mangled by the boat’s propeller.
Cruz was immediately rushed to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial, where he underwent more than 60 procedures and spent nearly a year in recovery.
“I’m so thankful to all the people God put on my path on that day,” said Cruz. “Everyone at Jackson was great. They’re all angels. I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for all of them.”
