I hosted a strum circle at my house. What a fun afternoon. I invited 5 of my friends and one of them invited two new friends!
It was an afternoon of no judgement. Players of all skill levels attended.
There was no talk of politics, religion or anything controversial. That was not by design, there were no rules like that, it was just about the moment and making music. And for that short time, nothing else mattered. Music can really bring people together!
