Ben Sisson was among the group of veterans who took a Dream Flight in the skies over Topeka, Kansas, on the afternoon of Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2025. This was made possible by the caring staff of Brookside Retirement Community in Overbrook, Kansas. They arranged this special day by working with Dream Flight, a nonprofit organization in Topeka whose motto is "Giving back to those who gave." Dream Flights offers veterans a 15 minute-flight in a WWII-era Stearman biplane that is pure magic.
