How to Change Transmission Fluid and Filter in Lexus GX460 - Check Solenoids P2714

Описание: My 2015 Lexus GX460 was due for a drain and fill of the transmission fluid, as well as a change of the transmission fluid filter. The vehicle was also outputting an error code P2714, which could potentially be due to dirty transmission fluid or faulty valve body solenoid(s). After purchasing all supplies (see Amazon product links below), I removed the transmission fluid pan, drained the old fluid, cleaned the pan/magnets, and checked functionality of a solenoid. After reassembly, I re-filled with new OEM fluid and ensured proper fluid level per Lexus instructions. Though Lexus states that the transmission fluid never needs to be changed, a drain and fill every ~50K miles may extend the transmission life. The filter should be changed every ~100K miles. This DIY job required a few hours of effort, but it was worth it to ensure vehicle reliability.
